Press R to Restart, if you are looking for the Usable Handgun in Wrong Number go to 9mm.
The pistol is a unique weapon briefly seen in Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number.
Hotline Miami[]
The pistol is briefly seen in Showdown, Jacket's final mission. The Father uses it to commit suicide, and Jacket uses it to kill The Grandfather.
Due to the loud sound of the pistol, and the design of it the Pistol is based on the .357 or .44 Magnum Desert Eagle (since the .50AE wasn't introduced until 1993) which was commonly used by high-ranking members of organized crime groups and drug cartels.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number[]
The pistol is briefly seen in the intro for First Trial, seen on the Evidence Table along with Jacket's blood-stained signature jacket, Richard Mask, Tony Mask, Aubrey Mask, and the Trophy used to kill the Panthers and The Bodyguard.
Other than that brief appearance the pistol does not appear in-game. A more common, less powerful pistol also appears.
Trivia[]
- The Desert Eagle, which is what the pistol is based on, is Dennis Wedin's favorite firearm.
- It is referred to as sprBossgun in the game's files.
- The Pistol uses the same sound as the Magnum.
