Knife For Pros is an achievement in Hotline Miami.
Requirements[]
To unlock this achievement the player must use every melee weapon, except the trophy, at least once. Getting a kill is required. You do not need to finish the chapter for the weapons to count towards this achievement.
Necessary weapons:
- Knife
- Baseball Bat
- Lead Pipe
- Golf Club
- Crowbar
- Pool Cue
- Broken Pool Cue
- Frying Pan
- Empty Pot
- Baton
- Katana
- Machete
- Sledgehammer
- Fireaxe

The Broken Pool Cue counts as a separate weapon for this achievement.
Trivia[]
This achievement (along with Guns For Show) is a reference to Guy Ritchie's first film - Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels. Planning to rip off a gang with only two shotguns for firepower, Soap suggests they supplement their hardware with knives that "look like they could skin a crocodile. ... Guns for show, knives for a pro."
